LeAnne R. Ruzzamenti is Director of Marketing Communications for Equitable Food Initiative where she oversees strategic branding and communication efforts. She works closely with EFI partners to coordinate marketing efforts and bring greater awareness of EFI’s impact to the produce industry and consumers. LeAnne has spent most of her career helping small businesses and nonprofits leverage their brand and supporters to grow their visibility and improve results. Her most recent positions were with Dairy Council of California and Crocker Art Museum. LeAnne grew up on a family-run apple farm in the Hudson Valley, New York, and graduated from American University with a degree in Public Communication and Political Science. She earned her master’s degree in Communications Studies from California State University, Sacramento where her thesis project addressed organizational change. She lives in Southwest Washington with her husband and two children, and when she’s not working, you will find her in the gym, in the kitchen or on a mountain.




Chris Padgett

Chris Padgett has over 30 years of experience working in some of the largest CPG companies in the world. He consults with CPG, tech and agency clients to develop and implement strategic, consumer-focused transformation initiatives. Chris’ areas of focus include modern marketing strategy, digital transformation and capability building, eCommerce acceleration, holistic data strategy and agency collaboration and structure.
Chris' most recent leadership role was VP Marketing/Head of Digital and Consumer Communications at Nestle USA, where he established the Digital Center of Excellence, including an internal creative agency, and led the Company’s eCommerce vision, strategy and organization build-out/integration to accelerate online revenue and share growth.
