Lilian Autler is a senior facilitator at the Equitable Food Initiative (EFI), a nonprofit certification and skill-building organization that seeks to transform agriculture and improve the lives of farmworkers. As part of the Workforce Development team, Lilian trains labor-management leadership teams in workplace collaboration and problem-solving skills and supports ongoing learning and communication among workers, managers, growers and EFI.

Kieran Ficken

Since 2017, Kieran has supported MTI’s clients in building programs that meet buyer reporting requirements and third-party standards. With a knack for training and communication, Kieran works with the MTI team to turn complex sustainability topics into step-by-step guides and other resources. Her dedication to scalable solutions allows clients to expand pilots into company-wide initiatives. While always up for a new challenge, her recent projects include supply chain oriented sustainability programs, on-farm certification projects and greenhouse gas emissions inventories.
 
Kieran holds an MBA in global impact management and an MA in international environmental policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies; her undergraduate degree is from the University of Vermont. Her academic work includes research on sustainability in the global soy and coffee supply chains, as well as agricultural development in Russia’s Far East.
 
Jeff Madu

Jeff Madu has been with Windset Farms® since its inception in 1996. Working in many areas of the business over the past 25 years, he has intimate knowledge of all aspects of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) and has helped Windset Farms® become one of the largest CEA operations in North America. Located in Delta, BC. Canada, he currently serves as vice president of Sales overseeing all sales activities.

 

Alejandro Lopez
Director of Greenhouse Operations

Born and raised in Mexico City, Alejandro Lopez was always interested in agriculture. With his Bachelor of Science in horticulture and years of experience in both field and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), he joined Windset Farms® in 2012. Located in California, he currently services as director of Greenhouse Operations overseeing all levels of greenhouse operations making sure everything is produced in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. In Alejandro’s free time, he enjoys traveling with the family and playing tennis.
