Brent Wickstrom

Brent Wickstrom is the third generation to operate Wickstrom Jersey Farms.  In April 2021, they expanded the operation to a second facility milking an additional 1,200 Jerseys.  Brent manages all the day-to-day operations on both dairies and managing the reproductive and mating decisions on the operation.  In 2014, Wickstrom Jersey Farms, Inc. began building an IVF collection center on-site.  A Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate, Brent earned his degree in dairy science with a minor in ag business and crop science.  During his college career, he was active with Los Lecheros Dairy Club and Dairy Challenge.  In 2019, Brent received the American Jersey Cattle Association Young Jersey Breeder Award.

 

 
Emilie Callan
Mulligan Farm
Avon, NY

Emilie Callan (Mulligan) is a fourth-generation farmer at Mulligan Farm. Mulligan Farm was established in 1920 in Avon, New York; the farm consists of 1,450 cows and 2,500 acres. Emilie farms alongside her parents, Jeff and Lesa, her cousin, Forrest, who manages the crops and shop and a fantastic team of employees. Since returning to the family business in 2017, her parents have provided the guidance and support to allow her to manage the herd and human resources of the dairy.   

 

 

Mikayla McGee
Jon-De Farm, Inc.
Baldwin, WI

Mikayla McGee (Doornink) is a fifth-generation farmer at Jon-De Farm, Inc. The farm was established in 1912 and is located in St. Croix County, Wis. Mikayla joined the farm full time as the fifth generation in 2015 and farms alongside her grandfather, father and her husband. The farm currently milks 1,360 registered Holsteins, and raise all of their own young stock. Mikayla is the general manager at the dairy.
