SPEAKERS:

Hager has been an associate professor in the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois since 2009. The focus of Hager’s research program is to develop innovative approaches that ultimately expand the knowledge and understanding of weed biology with a particular emphasis directed toward addressing the contemporary weed species infesting the major field crops of Illinois. Hager’s research helps to identify and manage herbicide-resistance in aggressive agronomic weeds.

 

Travis Legleiter

Extension Assistant Professor of Weed Science

University of Kentucky

 

Legleiter has been a weed science extension specialist at the University of Kentucky since 2017. Before that, Leglieiter was a weed science program specialist at Purdue University. His areas of interest include weed control in corn, soybean and wheat crops as well as emphasis on control of herbicide resistant weeds and evaluation of herbicide application technologies.
